Impressive from day one, the original Black Widow – built on the budget two-door 150 utility coupe – was never actually a factory offering. Rather, these were special cars modified for racing under factory direction by a small company called Southern Engineering Development Company, or SEDCO. Working with SEDCO, manufacturing engineer Vince Piggins released a Chevrolet document on the parts you needed to buy over the counter to build one yourself.
