My Tuxedo Black/Adode F350 6.7 CC Lariat Dually was delivered to my dealer today. I just happened to pass by right after it got there. I swore I wouldn’t do it……but after seeing it I’m looking forward to putting 35″ Terra Grapplers on it and maybe lifting it up a bit. The question for you guys is this…will a lift kit affect the installation and or operation of a snowplow? I will definitely put a western pro plus 8’6″ on it. Thoughts, opinions, recommendations are welcome. Also if you have any pictures of lifted dual lights with bigger tires I would love to see them. I think it will look sick!!!!

Just go 2″ spring space in the front and be done with it.. it will handle 35″ no problem and the back you don’t even have to do anything.

It has a plow and spreader for over 8 years, 6″ lift and 35″ metric tires, I ran 37″ originally. My plow is modified for the extra height, otherwise when you angle the blade half of it will be off the ground , and it will try to lift the truck up and stick under you if you get it stuck.

If you are running 35″ plan on getting 2″ spacers. Also the regular double wheels are very thin and they really crown my tires. I get many miles before the outside of the tire ever touches the ground. I also found that the front end felt like jello with the stock wheels. The front tires were worn unevenly, so I took the dual spacers/adapters off the front end and got a set of 10″ wide wheels with standard SRW spacing. I can’t rotate the tires without a tire changer, but it feels a lot better.

I lifted the truck because the plow mounts were so low that I was very stuck. I take my truck in the dirt for a lot of work and it was too heavy to be on stock thin tires and with the extra low plow mounts.

Also, if you lift it as high as mine, you don’t need the plow lights! I took mine off.

Nice car!!!! Not planning to go that high. I’m looking to make the truck look good and only thinking about lift so 35″ tires look really good. I was thinking 2″ or 2.5″ lift with 35’s would be a very nice look. I not going to do too much plowing other than my private road and driveway.

I know there are adjustments for the ultra mounted plows for height. I just installed an ultra mount mvp on my dad’s 2000 F-250 and there are 4 adjustment settings. Hans has a 1 1/2 leveling set on the front and e is on the number 3 setting. I’m thinking if you take a lift you’ll be taller so option #4 allows. I’m not saying you can’t make it work. Just telling you what we went through.

No need to lift it in the 35s. Probably not even for 37s. The best looking Super Duties I’ve ever seen are no-lifts on 37s. With my old 2007 6.0L I would have to trim the front bumper a bit to fit 37’s but nothing for 35’s. With my new 2011 it doesn’t look like I would have to trim even for 37’s.

Leave your storage rack alone as long as you can. It looks good and works well and you save yourself too much
