2019 Black Widow Silverado For Sale Improvement

2019 Black Widow Silverado For Sale Improvement – If you’re looking for a factory off-road truck with a lift kit and other upgrades, you can walk away now and buy a new Chevy Silverado 1500 Trail Boss or GMC Sierra 1500 AT4. Most people will find that these trucks offer a lot of options, but there are options for those who want more.

One of the easiest ways to add more ground clearance to your new pickup is with the Black Widow kit from SCA Performance. The company sells off-the-shelf trucks with upgrade kits already installed at several Chevrolet and GMC dealerships across the country.

The list of upgrades is impressive and includes components for the truck’s suspension, wheels and tires, exhaust and appearance. While the powertrain is left intact, there are major upgrades to the exhaust and suspension systems. A suspension lift and Fox Shocks come standard, and the included Black Widow exhaust features a custom muffler and tips for a deeper sound.

Inside, the new trucks feature painted interior trim details and custom interior features. SCA can upgrade the truck to premium stitched leather and other options for an additional fee. The rest of the interior remains stock, so the options the truck left the factory with are available. A local dealer has a listing for a 2021 Silverado Black Widow. It’s an RST model that’s been upgraded with SCA stitched leather, but it also has the factory sunroof and Bose Premium Stereo from the factory. All this, and the truck retains its three-year/36,000-mile comprehensive warranty.

How much does it all cost? Quite a bit, as it turns out. A Silverado 1500 RST with the Black Widow package and a few extra options added on is nearly $80,000 before local and dealer incentives are taken into account. The SCA conversion added $21,845 to the truck’s base price, but it’s important to remember that you probably won’t be able to build the same level of truck for the same money. Also, there’s a good chance that doing the aftermarket work yourself will void your warranty. Car customization is a sacred thing. This allows owners to create something truly unique and worthy of attention. Some buyers will want to upgrade their trucks themselves, but there are options available for those who want to buy something that has been upgraded before they get the keys. We’ve covered custom trucks before, and they’re always fun to share.

Mike Davenport (aka “Chevy Dude”) recently posted on YouTube about dealer-sanctioned upgrades. Davenport shares his excitement with the audience for the SCA Silverado Black Widow. It’s certainly a great looking Silverado, but is it worth $18,000?

Davenport is a seller who uses his channel to advertise vehicles that he can then sell to his viewers. There’s nothing wrong with that, and thankfully he’s pretty aware of what he’s doing. However, he is motivated to entertain the stock of his land, and that is exactly what he does throughout the video. “This truck is made by SCA Performance, and while I usually tell people to watch out for these decals because these decals are fake, [but] this is the one exception,” says Davenport. We’ll have to keep an eye on his channel to see if he makes any more exceptions. And honestly, the truck looks pretty menacing.

Looks like SCA hit home with the Black Widow pack. The company puts a six-inch lift kit on the trucks and 36-inch BF Goodrich all-terrain KO2 tires on its rims. The alloys look just as great as the leather seats pictured above, which are actually an option on Black Widow trucks. Presumably the Davenport dealer thought they were worth paying for. He certainly thinks so. “I think it’s a little better than the leather that comes out of the factory,” says Davenport.

“This truck is made by SCA Performance, and while I usually tell people to watch out for these decals because they are fake, [but] this is the only exception.”

The interior also receives other improvements. SCA installs LED projector puddle lights that activate when the front driver and passenger doors are opened. All the backlit gauges have been changed to red, and the cockpit also gets its own custom setup, which may be the best cosmetic upgrade of the bunch.

Davenport certainly paid attention to non-spider innovations as well. The lift kit provides good coverage, and he places the camera right next to the SCA exhaust while the Chevy Silverado is running so viewers can listen to the sweet burble the truck emits at idle.

At the end of the video, Davenport can be seen seeing the truck’s prices vary. He does not determine anything.

“We always post our best and lowest price on our website,” he says in the clip. In addition to factory rebates and incentives, the Davenport dealer lists the Black Widow package at $18,000. That’s pretty high for what you’re getting, but as Davenport proves, the quality of the upgrades is top notch. Bachman Chevrolet is also expecting quite a bit of money for this particular truck. Without the Black Widow package, the dealer knocked about $3,000 off the MSRP. With incentives, the discounts are around $10,000, which coincidentally does not match their “Open House Event Price”. Basically, they only take about $3,000 off the total price of the truck, even with the addition of the Black Widow package.

That said, Davenport is honest about the Silverado’s incentives. He rightly points to a typical dealer trick of posting discounts that no customer can claim. We’d like to take it a step further and commend Bachman Chevrolet for simply talking about the price of the truck. Some dealers refuse to even discuss the cost of the vehicle until they meet face-to-face with the potential customer. It’s an old school tactic that is unfortunately still in practice. Davenport’s price may be a little high, but honesty is always refreshing, and sometimes it’s worth paying a little extra to avoid intense haggling. As for the Black Widow pack, it’s worth watching the video to see all the goodies that come with it. Today’s trucks fill many consumer roles. Some need the versatility of a truck for towing and hauling, while others want their truck to offer a luxurious ownership experience with high-quality leather and the latest technology. So it’s no surprise that customers can buy expensive trucks that require large sums of money for luxury cars. The 2019 Chevy Silverado in the video above, which has nearly $32,000 worth of upgrades, is the latest example of how easy it is to add new car accessories to a truck.

The Chevy truck started at $50,295 LTZ, but how did the final price come to $82,096? The 6.2-liter V8 added $2,495 under the hood. It has a $550 Z71 kit that adds Rancho shocks and skid plates, while the spray-on bed liner was $545. The Silverado also received the LTZ Premium Package, which included a lift/lower liftgate, navigation and more.

The price really goes up with the aftermarket upgrades, almost a $21,000 gain. It includes a 6-inch lift, BF Goodrich all-terrain tires, Black Widow rims, and tinted windows. The two-tone look isn’t a wrap – it’s painted that way. Other upgrades include wheel-to-wheel running boards, black exhaust tips and new mufflers.

Inside, the headrests are embroidered with the Black Widow logo. The logo is also used as puddle lamps. The truck has heated and ventilated seats, a leather-wrapped heated steering wheel and a sunroof. Aftermarket upgrades include gloss black painted interior trim on the doors and center console, as well as red LED footwell lighting.

Are all these upgrades necessary? Of course not. Again, justifying a $50,000 truck as a necessity would be difficult for most people. But that’s not the point. Trucks have a strong aftermarket scene that allows owners to customize their rides in any way they want. And it’s pretty neat.
