F350 Single Cab Dually Lifted

F350 Single Cab Dually Lifted – Going Hollywood “is usually a phrase that is given when someone comes to the big moment. Known for its bright lights and lavish lifestyle, Hollywood is the Mecca of success and fame, but it can also be an aura that changes the world. way you look at things and it makes everything a little sweeter. Michael Rivera of Odessa, Texas grew up on the west end of Texas in Fort Stockton, but ventured to Odessa with his family. While his two older brothers were heavily involved in the automotive lifestyle, Michael focused on working on an oil rig.

“IT WAS LIKE BEING IN A DIFFERENT WORLD OUT THERE, IT WAS THE BEST OF THE BEST.”

But around that time, he noticed that the lifted truck scene had just begun and that everyone in the oil fields had lifted trucks that were being used for the job. It was there that he met Eden Gonzalez, who had all the contacts in the truck scene and helped him begin his customization journey. After he started picking Eden’s brains over what he wanted to do, he was introduced to Cesar Olivas known in the community as “Tweety” and owner of Tweety’s Truck and Tire, a shop responsible for some of the nastiest trucks in the area. of Texas. With his newfound interest, Michael inquired about a build of him and started spinning the ball.

Michael bought a Dodge 3500 welding rig and raised it modestly, but his love of the utility truck was gone and it was time for something better. He then he went out and bought a new Dodge Mega Cab, but it wasn’t big enough yet. In the end, he chose a brand new 2017 Ford pickup and 1997 Ford F-350 as a two-for-one purchase.

Despite his love for the Dodge brand, Michael couldn’t resist the idea of having a new Ford and OBS body style at the same time. The trucks, 20 years later, became like brothers and he carefully added custom parts to each as they were now special members of his family. But Michael saw something special in OBS and knew he was destined for something bigger.

Michael brought the classic Ford to Tweety to add a Lollipop Red powder coated Rough Country lift with Fox shocks. The build wasn’t complicated at all, but it looked good for Michael at the time. About seven months later, Michael went to the SEMA Show in Las Vegas where his vision changed. “It was like I was in a different world out there,” adds Michael. “It was the best of the best and I wanted to be there with them.” Once he got home, he wasted no time making plans to change the OBS.

Because he knew he had to step up his game if he ever wanted to turn his head at SEMA, Michael contacted RYD MotorSports in Vancouver, BC, due to their reputation for building some of the best rigs around. RYD’s builders have produced a 14-inch lift for the front and rear, along with the 4-link configuration they have custom built in-house. A few 2008 Super Duty axles were manufactured and built and sent to Michael for installation 3.0 triple bypass bags on King Shocks with full high steering and dual steering stabilizers. Tweety was enlisted to assemble the huge new lift with adjustable heights.

When it came time to add some exterior additions, Michael opted for Bodyguard bumpers front and rear with Royal Hooks and Outlaw LED lights. Initially, he chose a brown and gold paint scheme and dubbed the build Gold $ chlager. But then he changed the colors and Lozoya Graphics and Painting coated the entire OBS in Blue Dove which highlighted the new golden lifting components. However, Gold $ chlager was already what everyone called the truck, so he kept it. The good folks at Hornblasters have added a set of train horns that are powder coated in dove blue and gold to match. To help Michael get in and out of the newly raised Ford, the AMP electric side steps were fitted and painted to match.

Michael’s next step was to freshen up the vintage interior. We all know that the interior is the most used part of any vehicle and where we spend the most time, so it had to be updated and updated. Michael found a small shop in Dallas and had him add white leather electric bucket seats from a 2010 Ford truck and add blue piping, while blue fiberglass accents were added to the door panels. The seat belts have also been dyed blue to match the new interior color scheme. The rear bench seat has been removed and replaced with bucket seats for additional space. Blue carpet has been added throughout the cabin to bring the cohesive look together.

Once completed, Michael brought the newly built OBS classic Ford to the 2018 SEMA show and was able to fulfill his dream of being among the elite. Michael would like to thank his beautiful wife Ashley and their baby boy Michael Peyton for their support and patience in watching him fulfill his dream. Special thanks to his two older brothers and his parents for instilling in him the dedication and fortitude to keep moving forward when it seemed impossible. He also sends a big thank you to Eden Gonzalez and Titti di Titti for always being available to help and build one of the best Ford OBS on the planet. It took three trucks and great contacts before Michael reached Hollywood status, and now “Hollywood Mike” has set the bar for the OBS game. I’m just curious what I should sell my truck for. I’d rather see someone use it and drive it than sitting in my driveway.

Your problem will be that you have taken away the usefulness of a 4WD truck by modifying it like you did. So you will have a very limited market for it. I doubt even a retailer will give you half of what you think is worth with mods.

So unless you find someone who wants a truck just like you did, don’t expect much.

This is an older thread, you may not get a response, and you may revive an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.RBP (Rollin ‘Big Power) has created the Builder’s Challenge to help them select the biggest and boldest trucks out there to represent them at the SEMA show in recent years. The trucks are not only selected to highlight their latest wheels and accessories, but also to draw attention to the unique changes to the builds.

Brandon Henson tried to stand out from the crowd even more with his 2017 Ford F350 Super Duty and employed Truck Guru’s marketing team along with Performance Offroad in Bakersfield, California to create a concept that would turn heads. . With the show experience in the past at the SEMA show, he knew that for this round he needed to go beyond the sea of lifted heavy duty trucks rolling on big wheels and tires. He needed a modification that would set him apart from the rest of the Super Duty trucks and help showcase the latest RBP parts.

The biggest change that Brandon’s Super Duty underwent was to ditch the factory bed in favor of a Bradford Built countertop. Of course, some changes would have been in the cards, so the countertop was customized with larger fenders to accommodate the oversized wheels and tires that Brandon had planned for the truck.

The front has seen many upgrades too, including a huge Road Armor front bumper equipped with a WARN winch and RBP LED light pods. Finishing the front is an elegant Midnight RBP grille with a series of LED lights on.

One of the biggest trends in the raised truck world has been to increase not only tire size, but wheel size as well. This Ford saw a full set of huge 26×8.5-inch RBP Apex 12R double wheels in a machined black finish truck-mounted with True Spike wing nuts. For the tires, Brandon turned to Nitto for its 40-inch high Nitto Trail Grappler muddy terrain tires that fit neatly under the fenders of the stretched countertop.

Providing the necessary altitude to free those wheels and tires is an 8-inch lift from BDS Suspension
