Jacked Up Dually Truck – When you’re in show business, passion for your art is a basic requirement, and you have to dedicate yourself to cultivating that passion every day. Brothers Dustin and Brandon Naivar know this better than most, having taken their passion for awesome trucks and their talent for creative metalwork and welded the two together to form Showtime Metal Works. The result of their passion, dedication and talent speaks for itself.
Dustin and Brandon grew up around the steel fabrication business because their father was in the shop. Young men began spending their childhood working with welders and metalworking equipment almost as soon as they could walk. In addition to their love of metalworking, the Naivar brothers also became interested in 4×4 trucks – the higher the better.

Building the best lifted trucks became the brothers’ driving mission, and they began preparing and taking their own trucks to shows around their home state of Texas. Eventually, this hobby turned into a business and they took the big leap to open Showtime Metal Works. Now their life’s work is to build the best possible trucks for themselves and their customers every day.

Dustin’s newest car is a 2010 Chevy Silverado 3500 DRW 4×4 powered by a Duramax diesel. As a dedicated bow tie guy, Dustin has built two previous custom trucks for his own use. The first was a 2007 Silverado 1500 4×4 and the second was a 2007 Silverado 2500HD SRW, also a Duramax diesel. You might say it has been a journey to this particular destination.

Dustin’s trusty Duramax breathes in through an AEM cold air intake, and then a Garrett 61MM turbo pumps the power to an eye-popping 32 psi. The engine is fueled by an AirDog 165 fuel pump and air separation system that provides 165 gallons per minute of fuel flow at a constant pressure of 8-10 psi.
This wild Duramax Dually truck looks good and drives even better. The 10-inch lift makes no compromises and the balanced proportions make this truck stand out.

The exhaust starts with 5-inch downpipes connected to a 5-inch Flo~Pro exhaust system. Exhaust gases land just in front of the rear axle via a 5-8 inch MBRP exhaust tip.
To further maximize power, Dustin chose an EFILive tuner to adjust fuel delivery to balance maximum performance with reasonable economy. He also added EFILive’s DSP5 unit so he can switch between five user-defined tones on the fly. All custom tuning was done by Dirty’s House of Diesel in Dustin’s hometown of Taylor, Texas.
Dustin says the power is up to about 900 pound-feet and 500 horsepower at about 3,700 rpm. To keep this engine alive, Dustin opted for a Fluidyne oil cooler to help keep temperatures down. Dustin swears by Lucas Oil products to keep temperatures down and extend the overall life of every truck he owns.
Here you can see the front end of Rize’s 8-10 inch suspension. It is important that the shock absorbers are matched to the suspension to keep the weight under control.

The choice is Nitto Trail Grapplers, size 38×13.50R24. These are mounted on American Force 24 inch Scope wheels. It takes six wheels to roll down the road in style in this double-edged fashion.
All of that fantastic engine torque is transferred through an Allison 1000, six-speed automatic transmission to an NP263 transfer case. Allison has been upgraded to a deep dish and external cooler from PPE. The T-case is still stock, and the 2.72:1 low range is just right for Dustin’s needs. Power is sent to a standard rear axle with a custom Yukon 4:88-1 transmission, PPE balancer and standard LSD. The front axle was also updated to the Yukon’s 4:88-1 gearing. Power hits the pavement or dirt through six Nitto Trail Grappler tires in size 38×13.50R24. These are mounted on American Force 24 inch Scope wheels.
This truck has 10-12″ Rize Industries suspension, Fox 2.0 remote control shocks, and tubular upper control arms. The rear drive shaft is stock, but the front was upgraded to a dual-CV setup. Additionally, longer, braided stainless steel brake lines ensure that full suspension travel does not drag on the brake system. Heavy Rize tie rods and tie rods complete the suspension upgrades.
The 8-10 inch Rize lift rides well. The drop-down menu on the brackets ensures good geometry and a smooth and stable ride.

PPE’s high capacity aluminum rear differential cover has been replaced with a stock cover. This aftermarket beauty increases oil capacity and helps dissipate heat. You’ll also see Fox 2.0 rear shocks and Rize suspension mounts.
Here you can see the tubular upper control arm dropout and Fox 2.0 remote reservoir shock setup that controls the movement of this truck.
On the outside, the grille shell is color matched to the truck’s clear Graystone Metallic. Dustin and Brandon created a two-piece STMW (Showtime Metal Works) grille. The front fenders are made from EGR and are then painted to match the body and complement the stock rear fenders.
Dustin works hard to keep Showtime on the cutting edge of truck technology, and this truck proves the results.

The front and rear bumpers also showcase the best of STMW. These steel teeth are unique and strong. The front bumper features two Rogue 4 40-inch Delta Series twin-row LED light bars. Each of these flashlights provides enough light to drive off the grid, even on moonless nights.
The rear STMW bumper has two 6-inch LED lights. These are great for overnighting, hooking up a trailer, or just setting up camp. The stock headlights have been upgraded to Plain An Simple LED units engraved with the STMW logo.
What else would Dustin put in his bumper other than his own STMW unit? This bumper features two 40-inch Delta series, dual-row LED light bars. You’ll also see LED front corner lights, LED headlights and a color-matched grille surround.
The factory stereo/nav head unit was retained, but Wet Sounds 6-inch speakers in the door and center console pump up the tunes quite well. The seats are in black leather and the upholstery parts are color-matched to the exterior.

Other frame-related upgrades include a spray headboard, Retrax headboard and retractable AMP Research side steps. The door handles and side mirrors are also painted to match the body. Asid Graphic did the vinyl work.
Inside, the seats are in black leather and the upholstery parts are color-matched to the exterior. The A-pillar mount includes the Pro-Sport oil temperature, water temperature and EGT gauges. Wet Sounds 6-inch speakers in the door and center console amplify the sound of the factory stereo and GPS navigation head unit. The factory subwoofers and tweeters were kept. The final trim is a set of gorgeous LED dome and map lights that are whiter and brighter than the stock bulbs.
Dustin works hard to keep Showtime on the cutting edge of truck technology, and this truck proves the results, but it also shows that he knows how to play hard. Driving a show-winning truck as a daily driver is even better when it’s also your work truck. But then a serious passion for trucks is a Naivar family tradition. Dad may have started things, but Dustin and his brother Brandon have taken it to a whole new level. DW
The rear bumper is also a Showtime unit. It’s stronger than stock, looks better and sports LED backup lights.

When you’re using more power than the factory rating, you need to keep an eye on things. To better monitor the engine, the A-pillar mount includes Pro-Sport oil temperature, water temperature and EGT gauges.
