Finally…A few days ago at the National Automobile Dealers Association convention, Lingenfelter Performance Engineering unveiled a new truck named after them.

We know a little more about this thing than the average media outlet because we actually got on board with it during the suspension phase of the project. That’s 475 horsepower from a blown 5.3-liter Lingenfelter engine. This will be the first engine offering, but down the road, the truck will also feature a 550-hp 6.2-liter engine. The truck is lifted, can wear up to 33″ tires, has a custom damping package developed by Fox and is already in the California desert as well as on the drag strip where it goes up to 13 seconds…. factory gear ratio 3.08!

And it includes a grill, solid bumper, lighting package, hood, rock guards, side steps and a bunch of others. 20″ wheels and off-road tires are standard, but buyers can upgrade to 17″ locks and General Grabber tires for maximum on-road mud-pulling ability. As for the suspension, the truck is in Raptor territory, it’s not a weak sibling. Chad was out in the desert with the Lingenfelter engineers, Fox Racing engineers and the video guys in the truck recently as they filmed this thing in action. At one point, Chad reports that a crew truck loaded with passengers was crossing the desert floor at 60+ miles per hour. We’ve seen footage of it jumping over hills, chuck holes and other obstacles.

These cars are sold through Lingenfelter’s global dealer network, and LPE has promised to put the hammer on one of these cars. We haven’t slept since the day Copeland made this promise, and now that we’ve seen what the finished product will look like, we’re really going to have bloodshot eyes. Ram-runner, Raptor and now Reaper. Just like the factory drag wars, there’s now a trio of off-road trucks for your jumping fun!
