Silverado Black Widow Edition Price Ideal

Silverado Black Widow Edition Price Ideal – Today’s trucks fill a multitude of roles for consumers. Some need the versatility of a towing and hauling truck, while others want their truck to offer a luxurious ownership experience with high-quality leathers and the latest technologies. So it’s no surprise that customers can buy expensive trucks that require luxury car money. The 2019 Chevy Silverado in the video above, which has nearly $32,000 worth of upgrades, is the latest example of how easy it is to add a new car’s worth of accessories to a truck.

The Chevy truck started life as a $50,295 LTZ, but how did the final price get to $82,096? The 6.2-liter V8 under the hood added $2,495. There’s a $550 Z71 package that adds Rancho shocks and skid plates, while a spray-on bedliner was a $545 option. The Silverado also got the LTZ Premium Package which included a power/reduce liftgate, navigation and more.

The price really skyrockets with aftermarket upgrades—nearly $21,000 for the good ones. That includes a 6-inch lift, BF Goodrich all-terrain tires, Black Widow rims, and tinted windows. The two-tone look isn’t a wrap — it’s painted. Other upgrades include wheel-to-wheel running boards, black exhaust tips and new mufflers.

Inside, the Black Widow logo is embroidered on the headrests. The logo is also used as puddle lights. The truck has heated and ventilated seats, a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel and a sunroof. Additional aftermarket upgrades include light black interior trim on the doors and center console, and red LED footwells.

Are all these upgrades necessary? Of course not. Then again, justifying a $50,000 truck by necessity would be a problem for most people. But that is not the point. The trucks have a robust stock scene that allows owners to customize their rides in any way they want. And that’s pretty neat. SoCal loves Black Widow trucks, and Paradise Chevrolet Cadillac has one of the largest inventories of Black Widow trucks in California. Dealer-approved upgrades are the subject of a recent video posted to YouTube by Mike Davenport (aka “Chevy Dude”). Davenport shares his excitement with viewers about the SCA Silverado Black Widow. It’s undoubtedly a beautiful Silverado, but is it worth the $18,000 price tag?

Davenport is a marketer who uses his channel to promote vehicles that he can then sell to his viewers. There’s nothing wrong with that, and thankfully, he’s pretty upfront about what he’s doing. That being said, he’s motivated to impose inventory on his plot, and that’s exactly what he does throughout the video. “This truck was built by SCA Performance, and while I usually tell people to beware of these decals, because these decals are a ripoff, [but] this is the one exception,” Davenport says. We’ll have to keep an eye on his channel to see if he makes any further exceptions. And to be fair, the truck looks pretty mean.

As far as looks go, SCA hit a homerun with the Black Widow package. The company puts a six-inch lift kit on the trucks and 36-inch BF Goodrich KO2 all-terrain tires on its custom rims. The alloys look just as great as the leather seats you see in the picture above, which is actually an option on Black Widow trucks. The Davenport dealership probably thought it was worth paying. He certainly thinks so. “I think this is a little better than leather coming from the factory,” says Davenport.

“This truck is made by SCA Performance, and while I usually tell people to beware of these decals because they’re a ripoff, [but] this is the one exception.

The interior gets other upgrades as well. SCA installs LED projector puddle lights that activate when you open the front driver and passenger doors. All the backlit gauges have been changed to red and the driver’s cockpit also gets its own customization, which may be the best cosmetic upgrade in the package.

Davenport made sure to catch the non-spider-themed upgrades as well. The pickup kit gets good coverage, and he places the camera right next to the SCA’s exhaust while the Chevy Silverado is running, so viewers can hear the sweet roar the truck emits at idle.

At the end of the video, Davenport shows us how the truck prices break down. He keeps nothing vague.

“We always post our best and lowest prices on our website,” he says in the clip. Aside from the factory rebate and incentives, the Davenport dealer lists the Black Widow package at $18,000. That’s a pretty high number for what you’re getting, but as Davenport points out, the quality of the upgrades is top notch. Bachmann Chevrolet is also expecting a lot of money for this truck. Without the Black Widow package, the dealer shaved about $3,000 off the MSRP. With incentives, the discounts come to about $10,000, which coincidentally coincides with their “Open House Event Pricing.” Basically, they only take about $3,000 off the total price of the truck even when the Black Widow package is added.

That said, Davenport is honest about the Silverado’s incentives. He rightly points out the typical dealer ploy of advertising discounts that no customer could possibly qualify for. We’ll go a step further and commend Bachmann Chevrolet for simply talking about the price of the truck. Some dealerships will refuse to even discuss the price of the vehicle until they meet the potential customer face-to-face. It’s an old school tactic that is unfortunately still in practice today. Davenport’s price may be a little high, but honesty is always refreshing, and sometimes it’s worth paying a little extra to avoid the intense haggling. As for the Black Widow bundle, it’s worth watching the video to see all the goodies that come with it.
